  • Hi Yaniv,

There may be numerous causes for this issue.

    • Do you use the Oracle date source type? This built-in data source type is based on the .NET Framework Managed Provider for Oracle and requires an Oracle client software component.
    • Verify the connection strings are correct and the credentials to use to connect to the data source have sufficient permissions on the Oracle database. The following connection string example specifies an Oracle database on the server named "Oracle9" using Unicode:
            Data Source="Oracle9"; Unicode="True"
    • Named parameters are supported by the Oralce data processing extension. For Oracle version 9 or later, multivalue parameters are supported.

If the issue persists, please post the error message in the Reporting Services Log file for further analysis.

  • You need to relook at the user with which you connected to the data source and ensure that it has the relevant access permissions.
