Database server error number: '11004' || message: 'SQL call failed.'

    Hi Everybody,

I am facing a issue on a Java application. The problem is its internal services are crashed and the devlopers have found that the service crashes because of connection faliure with SQL server. The issue is not very frequent but it often occurs, i ran profiler to catch some information during this issue but there was no log for that db.

This is what applciation log say :-

    1. Database server error number: '11004', server: '08001[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]Specified SQL server not found. ** AND ** [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][TCP/IP Sockets]Connection Open (Connect()).', severity: '-1', message: 'SQL call failed.'

    2. Database server error number: '11', server: '01000[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]ConnectionWrite (send()). ** AND ** [Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][DBNETLIB]General network error. Check your network documentation.', severity: '-1', message: 'SQL call failed.'

Is this is a issue with ODBC and OLEDB ? Please let me know your thoughts?

    Thanks in Advance.
