Install MS SQL SERVER 2000 In Windows 7 Using XP Mode

    Question

  • Hello Guys,

I tried to install SQL server 2000 in windows 7 using XP mode (i use XP mode since i found so many articles said that sql server 2000 is not compatible with windows 7). The installation is success in XP mode. But when i tried to connect The SQL server from another computers (Client), i can't connect to the SQL server using ODBC. Do you have any idea? Is it possible to connect sql server if the instance is stored in XP mode?
    I really need your help

    Regards
