Getting Error while updating table in SQL Server

    Question

  • hi,

I am getting this error message while updating table in database.

    "

    Msg 1105, Level 17, State 2, Line 1
Could not allocate space for object 'dbo.csk_email_format' in database 'bookworm_test' because the 'PRIMARY' filegroup is full. Create disk space by deleting unneeded files, dropping objects in the filegroup, adding additional files to the filegroup, or setting autogrowth on for existing files in the filegroup.

  • Hi,

It seems your disk is full where your filegroup is.  Please make sure you have enough disk space. Another option is you have limited the size of the file/filegroup. Make sure you did not do that or set autogrowth.

    I hope it helps.
