    Question

  • Hi All,

i have SQL Server 2008 R2 running on window cluster 2008.

in my error log, i can able to see the below errors:

[sqsrvres] printODBCError: sqlstate = HYT00; native error = 0; message = [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]Query timeout expired.

SQL Server has encountered 398600 occurrence(s) of I/O requests taking longer than 15 seconds to complete on file [N:\ABC_Data\MSSQL10_50.ABCQAE3\MSSQL\DATA\ABC_22.ndf] in database [ABC] (5).  The OS file handle is 0x0000000000000012AC.  The offset of the latest long I/O is: 0x000000202e2240000

[sqsrvres] checkODBCConnectError: sqlstate = 08001; native error = ffffffff; message = [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]SQL Server Network Interfaces: Error Locating Server/Instance Specified [xFFFFFFFF].

[sqsrvres] checkODBCConnectError: sqlstate = 08001; native error = ffffffff; message = [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]A network-related or instance-specific error has occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. Server is not found or not accessible. Check if instance name is correct and if SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. For more information see SQL Server Books Online.

[sqsrvres] checkODBCConnectError: sqlstate = HYT00; native error = 0; message = [Microsoft][SQL Server Native Client 10.0]Login timeout expired

[sqsrvres] OnlineThread: asked to terminate while waiting for QP.

[sqsrvres] OnlineThread: Error connecting to SQL Server.

    [sqsrvres] ODBC sqldriverconnect failed

After this services are coming up. Sql server is starting, then starting all the database. once all the databases recovered again the same above error coming and SQL services are starting. it is happening like a cycle and still it continuing.

I am new to this environment. Please help me in resolving this.

    Thanks & Regards

    Krish
