URGENT: Error: Cannot create a connection to datasource Data source 1

    Question

  • Hi All,

Our architecture is configured as follows: Server 1 has SSAS installed and Server 2 has SSRS installed. We have created reports which connects to server 1 of SSAS and deployed the reports onto the Share Point which is installed in server 2. When we access the reports from server  2 we are able to see the reports. But when we try to access the reports from server 1 we get  the following error  An error has occurred during report processing. (rsProcessingAborted)
Cannot create a connection to data source 'DataSource1'. (rsErrorOpeningConnection)
The connection either timed out or was lost.
Unable to read data from the transport connection: An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
An existing connection was forcibly closed by the remote host.
We are logging with the same userid and pwd in both the boxes and we are the admin in both the servers. Please let me know if there are any solutions.
    Thanks.

    Regards,
    Ram
