SQL Query Analyzer 8.00.2039 color not working

    Question

  • I recenly got a new computer running Windows 7.0.  After SQL Query Analyzer was installed and connected to our SQL 2000 database I can no longer launch the help file or see color for 'Keyword' (default blue), 'String' (default red), number (default green) ect.  Under Tools, Options, Fonts tab all the default colors appear in the dialog.  Does version 8.00.2039 of SQL Query Analyzer has problems with Windows 7?  Any suggestions on how to fix this?

  • You are using query analyzer or management studio? Whats the version of SQL you are connecting to? Both are SQL 2000?

Not sure but it might some issue with display driver?

BTW, SQL 2000 is not supported in Windows 7. You are having combination of 10 years old SQL 2000 with latest member of operating system.
