I got this error while trying to perform full backup?

     When i tried to perform full backup, i got this error message?

    Can anyone help me to solve to error?

  • Hi,

    Which version of SQL is this? Did you move a SQL 2005 database that had a full-text catalog and not move the FT catalog? You may need to move or rebuild the catalog.

    Prior to SQL 2008 full-text catalogs were stored in a directory on the server and not inside the database.

    Currently is version 2005! I not very sure how because i following the instruction given.

    If really need to rebuild the catalog, can you teach me how? Already read through the http://support.microsoft.com/kb/923355/en-us but didn't understand the instruction given!

  • Can you describe how you ended up in this situation? Was the backup working until recently? Did something change?

    Also can you run the following query and show us the results?

    use [YOURPROBLEMDBNAME]
    go
    select file_id, type_desc, name, physical_name, state_desc
    from sys.database_files;
