I am trying to create a table with a variable length BLOB, one that can exceed the 8000 fixed length. I found some notes about using MAX as the parameter, but when I create the database, I am getting an exception, noting that the MAX parameter is understood.
So, the question is... are variable length blobs supported in MS SQL CE 3.5? If so, what am I doing wrong??
Thanks in advance for any help.
ntext , text, and image data types will be removed in a future version of Microsoft SQL Server. Avoid using these data types in new development work, and plan to modify applications that currently use them. Use nvarchar(max), varchar(max), and varbinary(max) instead.
