Drill down reports in ssrs 2008 R2.

  • Hi all,

    How to do drill down reports in ssrs 2008 R2?

    please send me step by step

  • Drill down example:

    Show Country report and drill down to States in each country

    1. Add a table and set the dataset.

    2. Add parent group as Country and also add group header row

    3. In group header row textbox call Country field (=Fields!Country.value)

    4. In Detail row textbox call States field.

    5. Set detail row textbox properties: Hidden = True and ToggleItem = Country (textbox)

    6. Set InitialToggleState property for Country textbox (default = false)

    7. Also select the whole detail row -> F4-> set properties: Hidden=True and ToggleItem=Country.

    This will show Drill down report.

    Please let me know if any clarifications..
