SSRS Report Size to Match Users Screen Size

    Question

  • Hello, I've not find this anywhere... so I was hoping to find an answer here.

I have a report where the body is black, but when the user runs the report, there is white space.  If I make the body larger than any screen size, i get scroll bars?  What is the most efficent way to prevent this and just make the body take up the width and Height of the users screen.

  • Hi LandLord323,

When view a report in Report Manger, if we want to the report fill in the whole screen, we can set the zoom to “Page Width”. The effect as show in the following figure:

  • You can make use of Interactive Size property of SSRS.

It is the width and height that user will see in the browser.

    • Go to Report properties.
    • Move to Interactive size.
    • Modify the report width, height, borders.

    Also, please adhere to standards

(Body Width + Left margin + Right margin) <= (Page width)
