  • OSSSearchResults is not a web part page, so will not have an Edit option. It's also a server page (_layouts) so cannot be edited with SharePoint Designer. Any changes made to it will impact all users.  What is it that you want to change?

(The advanced search results pages Results.aspx is a web part page stored in the database and can be customized.)

  • Hi,

If you want to edit the page, suggest you create a new "Search Center" then redirect all the search to this new created search page.

    Regards

  • Tell us more...
WSS or MOSS or MOSS Enterprise?
Why can't you use a Search Center?  (WSS?)
What search facets webpart are you using?  This one: http://www.codeplex.com/FacetedSearch

If you are using http://www.codeplex.com/FacetedSearch then note on that page the screen capture shows:  /SearchCenter/Pages/Results.aspx.   Results.aspx is a web part page.

Again, OSSearchresults is a LAYOUTs page and cannot support web parts.

  • I know this thread is old but check out http://osssearchrefinement.codeplex.com/. I created this solution and it allows you to add the refiners you want to the OSSSearchResults.aspx page. It doesn't require you to change the OOTB page or do anything unsupported.
