Search Settings - Error - An item with the same key has already been added.

  • Hi,

    When we click into the Shared Services Administration and then Search Settings site we get the following error.

    ERROR
    An item with the same key has already been added.

    Has anybody come across this before? I have searched the internet about this and can only find rebuilding the SSP as a solution. Is it possible to edit the SQL table where the problem resides?

  • Hi Msrk,

     

    Regarding to this issue, please check whether there are duplicate items in you MSSClickDistanceSeeds table of SharedServices_DB, this should be the cause of the error.

     

    If so, I suggest you restore your database from a prior backup. this is recommended.
