Change homepage URL

    Question

  • Hi Guys,

I have a question regarding the homepage URL.
By default, my site url is like this: http://<mysitename>/home.aspx

I have created a sharepoint webpart page and set it as the homepage.
    My site url became: http:///<mysitename>/AnalyticsReports/home.aspx

How can i remove the "/AnalyticsReports/" in my new homepage URL?
Please help me. Thanks in advance!

  • Hi uuperglenntot,
Where does the home.aspx page reside ?
Is it under Analyticsreport sub site ?
If you want to remove / hide  “/AnalyticsReport”, then home.aspx must be created in the root site

  • Hi,

Open your site in SharePoint designer then move that page from "AnalyticsReports" to "All Files" and set it as homepage.

    Thanks,
