how to display created by column in a sharepoint list

Answers

  • Hi

the easiest way to optimize the view,

, using the bowser, open the view to modify it  end form the columns, check the" Created By" column. Also there you can configure the order of the columns

In a DFWB or Xsltweb part

use SharePoint Designer - which is free and easy to use, connect to your site using an admin user, open the page, select the web part,

and from the ribbon select " Add/Remove Columns"

  • Click modify view, select 'Created By' checkbox and click Ok. The view of the list will now display 'Created By' column
