  • Hi Pankaj,

In my opionion, a custom event receiver will be more suitable for your scenario, it will be more simple and reliable.

When you delete an item, there will be an event fired in server side but no event fired in client side, so if you want to capture the delete event, the only way is to find the javascript that excute the delete action and then add a custom javascript that excute after the delete javascript excute, you can use IE Developer Tools to find the javascript, but it need a lot of time to find it.

    Thanks,
    Simon
