  • Hi Indra,

    Have you added all code in your page? After doing this you need to deploy your custom login page on you server and set it as your default login page as described in the article.

    • Create a application page in visual studio...
    • Write your custom code in that..
    • Deploy the page in Layouts folder
    • Run this powershell command ....
    $web  = ((Get-SPWeb http://<servername>).Site).WebApplication
    
    Set-SPCustomLayoutsPage -Identity "Login" -RelativePath "/_layouts/pagename.aspx"
    -WebApplication $web
    
    $web.Update()

    i have a question . how to insert user ,set password and set role by administrator in sharepoint 2010? just like website. administrator can create username, password and role .thanks

  • Hi You can use SPClaimsUtility to authenticate users ..

    bool status = SPClaimsUtility.AuthenticateFormsUser(Context.Request.UrlReferrer, strUserName, strUserPwd);

    i'm confused, i already build sharepoint site.. should i configured to use Forms Based Authentication first or just install  FBA PACK? or i have to configured to use Forms Based Authentication on my site without create new db? need more advice.. thanks
