I just got to playing with the Windows 7 Sensor Development Kit I received at PDC2008.

I found that I got lost during installation.  The 2 DVDs threw me.  This is how I got it installed.

    *** You will need Windows 7 build 6801 ***
*** Also, I installed VS 2008 SP1, Windows 7 SDK and Xna Game Studio 3.0, though I am not sure what you may need ***

Here's my advice:  ignore the "Can Your Badge Do This?" DVD right now, insert the Sensor Development Kit DVD.

Open the Documentation folder, and then "Sensor Development Kit Driver and Firmware.rtf"

At the very bottom, you will find the section entitled: Troubleshooting driver installation.  Follow those instructions.  On step 5, I drilled into the driver directory, and executed the SensorDriverInstaller that applied to me.

There is one more step, after verifying the Sensor Development Kit in Device Manager, return to Control Panel->Hardware and Sound.  Click on "Enable location and other sensors" under "Location and Other Sensors".  Enable Sensor Development Kit, and apply your changes.

The Samples should now work.  Word of caution: I was trying a bunch of things, so let others know if this works for you, or add on to this if I missed something!

    Blair.
