Execute WCF Service from the Azure Cloud
- Hi
I have written a few very minimal wcf services for publish testing that are consumed by a Silverlight client using the local Azure fabric, and they work correctly. However, I have not been able to publish these minimal wcf services to the Azure Cloud and get it to work. Does anyone have a for dummies like step-by-step instructions of what needs to be done. i..e. binding, security.
Thanks
Rich

- Hello, what problem did you get? If the service works fine in local Development Fabric, you shouldn't encounter problems in the cloud. Have you updated the ServiceReference.ClientConfig to point to your cloud endpoint?
Also, you can have a look at the samples on http://code.msdn.microsoft.com/wcfazure. It also contains several Silverlight samples.

- Hi,
Have you changed the url of the WCF in web.config. Make sure that its pointing to right url.

- There's also the below thread on the .NET Services forum. While it talks about using the .NET Service Bus, it does it via WCF.
