Solution Navigator: "Open files" filter showing files that aren't open

Question

Immediately after installing Power Tools, I switched to "Open" view in Solution Navigator.  It showed me open files, and then a folder full of files, one one of which was open.  I closed that file and that one item disappeared from the list, but the rest remained.
