I have successfully configured and enabled mirroring for 8 databases on my server pair, SQL Std Ed 2008R2 SP1. I try to add for the 9th db by running the SET PARTNER command on the principle- and this error occurs below. SET PARTNER command ran successfully on mirror, but fails on principle. Full bak & logs restored with NO RECOVERY option. Please help
ALTER DATABASE [ONE] SET PARTNER = N'TCP://MYMIRROR.NPEC.LOCAL:5022';
Msg 1448, Level 16, State 2, Line 2
The remote copy of database "ONE" does not exist. Check the database name and reissue the command.tia,
Chris

Chris
Looks like either you did not restore a db on the mirror properly (with norecovery) or port is not reachable

yes agreed with Uri worth restoring full and one log backup on mirroring server again with norecovery and also check telnet bi-directional on endpoint ports.
