Unable to call the workflow automatically when an item is added in list

HI,
I created the workflow in Sharepoint Designer 2007 and I set the workflow to trigger automatically when the item is added in the list. But it not get triggered when I add an item. But I can able to call the workflow manually. I don’t know why I am not able to call automatically? Weather i have to some other extra ....?

I believe first you can check the sharePoint log (C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\web server extensions\12\LOGS) as well as the event log when the issue happens to see if there is any relavant infromation,  this may help you to address what's the exact failure.

Be sure you do not log on as System Account if you have SP1 or later service pack installed.

 

Please use a less privileged account and try again.
