Are there any APIs to control the update and installation of metro apps just as what the windows store does?

Hello,

I have looked up the MSDN for several days, I can only find Windows.ApplicationModel.Store which is about the communication with windows store. 

But I want to know whether I can update or install metro apps from the windows store server directly through some APIs, just like the windows store

which is inside windows 8 dose. I could't find any information about this.
