Bold Flashing | (Line) Appearing on text editor

It looks like this: | except it is wider and is transparent sometimes, like the Flashing text line.
How did this happen? Also, when a character is added, it replaces the character it hides.

Hi Matthew,
According to your description, I supposed that you have pressed the Insert button on your keyboard. Please try to press the Insert button again and then check if the problem was fixed.
