Hi,
From Fig.8(Source Reader's role in media capture) of Developing Metro style Device Apps for Cameras article, it shows that a driver MFT talk to driver through IKSControl interface. So, I would like to know how the IKSControl interface is being retrieved so that my driver MFT able to talk to filter driver. Another issue is how to debug driver MFT DLL(Which process loads it)?
Thanks,
Kok Ann

Hi,
I am also interested in how the Driver MFT completes the handshake with the device driver. I've implemented all interfaces specified in "Developing Metro Style Device Apps for Cameras", but for some reason, never get the MFT_CONNECTED_STREAM_ATTRIBUTE param that results from a successful handshake.
Thanks.

Kok Ann,
It is not possible to get IKSControl inside a Metro style app. I am looking into the MFT0 approach.

Kok Ann,
Accessing the USB Video Class Extension Units is not supported in a Metro style app. IKsControlInterface is not available to Metro style apps. Therefore it is not allowed to circumvent this requirement by using the MFT0.
