    A question for Technical and Solution Architects,

    How long does it usually take you to write a 'roughly' 20 page technical document for the project such as above.

    detailing all the necessary background and technical details.

    Do you guys use templates which already exsist in your company/organisation or write every document from scratch.

    If from scratch how long long does it take to write and structure and how do you decide on the structure.
