How to import the contact into sharepoint 2010 by programing?

Question

As title , our employee have existing contacts on Lync (OCS) or Exchange

We hope to add these contacts to the Sharepoint contacts

Does anyone know how to do that?

Hi,

 

Follow Sohel Rana’s question, if they are from Active Directory accounts, you could use SPUser and SPGroup object.

You can edit SharePoint contacts in Outlook by connecting the SharePoint contacts list to Outlook. And after that, in Outlook, you can drag the contacts from Exchange and drop them into contacts in SharePoint.
