How to avoid double encoding of url in mails generated by Approval Workflow

Question

Hi,

I have a workflow task that generates OOTB mail on Approval initiation and completion.
The email contains a hyperlink to view the status of the workflow task.
When I click on the hyperlink, it displays error "Invalid WorkflowInstanceID parameter in URL".
This happens because the url is double encoded.

Is there any way to avoid double encoding of url in mails recieved from Approval workflow?
Is there any configuration to avoid double encoding?

Hi dhijit,

This issue is not caused by double encoding. Please Disable the Workflow Auto Cleanup task timer job from CA and see if this problem persists in the future.
