Hi, I was wondering if the October CTP works with VS11 Beta?
Is there any information around when this might happen, or do we wait for VS to RTM.

The Roslyn compiler API works, but you'll need to install it through Nuget.
The IDE integration, REPL etc doesn't work yet, support might come in a future version of Roslyn, nothing has been promised so far.

Hi Kevin - The October Roslyn CTP has not been tested against VS11 Beta and the installation will most probably fail if you try this.
Plans around the next Roslyn CTP (and whether or not it will work against VS11 Beta) have not been finalized yet. We will post on this forum as and when we have more news around this.

Thanks for your reply... Your suspicion was right, the installation fails... something about .Net Framework references not found (4 or 4.5)…
Quite elegantly failed and rolled back... all the little things that I've come to like aren't working ;-) Debugger Canvas wont install either.
Please encourage everyone to do stuff for VS11 Beta and RC...
