RAM

Question

I have a laptop which has 2 GB and 2 GB of RAM. But my Computer / Welcome Screen in Windows Vista Ultimate shows 2.99 GB Ram. I put 1 , 1 chip seperate also it said 2 GB Ram.

How do I help myself ??
