Internal Data Integrity (Type 4) 1 error thrown on opening the document in “open and repair mode” in Word 2003.

Hi,

 

I am using a custom tool based on file format specification to generate word documents. When i open the documents in open and repair mode on Word 2003. I get a “Data integrity error (TYPE 4)”. This error is mainly thrown when the document contains any table (As simple as an empty table having single row and single column). What is the possible cause of the error? Please suggest.
