Hi,
Keep in mind that as soon as you are coding against a particular product (here Project 2010), it's best to check a programming forum for this particular product as doing a particular task depends rather on the API exposed by this product rather than on the programming language you are using.
My understanding is that you want to add a button in the Project 2010 ribbon.
