Microsoft Visual studio 2010 for beginners

Question

I just started to learn Microsoft visual 2010. The trial day is 60 days but mine expires almost every other week. I tried to but the software and its price is very very high. I just wanted to use the software for some basic calculation. Is there anyway I can find the program cheap (under $100) or make it run for 60 days instead of expiring every other week?
