    Hello,

I have googled like over an hour now and i havent got any answers to these two questions :

What is the current contact list size (the number of personas you can add to your contact list) ? The best info i could get was from year 2005 and then it was 150/250.

Is there any 'bot' license available what will remove those limitations from the contact list ?

Please answer to those questions, and anyone who has the same questions please post them here, so it will not
    'sink' to older threads etc.

    Thank You.

I believe the limit is 600 now, but that could also be outdated information. It's at least 600, could be more nowadays.

You can register your address as an agent, if you have made your agent, go to http://gallery.live.com and submit it there. Your agent will now have an unlimited number of contacts (but keep in mind that this is only possible for real agents).

The max number of contacts a bot (agent) can have without being provisioned is 1,000.  To provision a bot (agent) above this limit you need to go through the process out on http://gallery.live.com.  Once a bot (agent) is provisioned it can have an unlimited number of contacts associated with it.

Hey thank you for your answers, but where i register that bot ?

And i got an answer from microsoft of the exact contact sizes ( now should everyone know )
    :

There are limits on the number of contacts that you can have in the various contact lists that are associated with Messenger. If you use a Microsoft domain e-mail address to sign in, MSN Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, and Hotmail share an address book. The Microsoft domain e-mail addresses are as follows: . @hotmail.com
    . @msn.com
    . @webtv.net
. Windows Live Admin Center address
The following table shows various types of information that is available in the Unified Admin Tool (UAT). The table contains the name of the list as shown in the UAT, a description of what is contained in the list, and the limit on the number of contacts on each list.
    Name of list Description Limit
Messenger Contacts The e-mail addresses of your contacts. 1000
Hotmail and Messenger Contacts All the contacts in your Hotmail and Messenger address books. 1250
Allow Contacts who are permitted to view your online status and send you instant messages. 1500
Block Contacts who are not permitted to view your online status or send you instant messages. 1200
Reverse (including Live Contact subscribers) Windows Live ID customers who are interested in viewing your online status. They may, or may not, have permission to view your online status. 1200
Pending Windows Live ID customers who want to view your online status, but you have not yet granted them permission. 40
Groups Customer defined groups. The default groups are Online, Offline, and Mobile. 100

Note Even though the Allow, Block, Pending, Reverse lists and Hotmail address-book have their own limit as stated above, only 1000 can be viewable in Messenger under the "Privacy" tab. 1000 contacts include Allow, Block, Pending, Reverse and Hotmail address-book

    Hi guys,

I have reach the limit of 1000 contacts on my msn and i would like to extend this... Should I create a bot Agent? How to do that? Could someone give me the exact process to do so?

I really need to add more contacts as I've got friends all over the planet....

    Thanks a million.
