Azure blob storage creating CNAME to verify.azure.com

Hi all.
We wanted to create CNAME record for a blob storage account, but we can't do that as the host "verify.azure.com" can't be resolved.
C:\Users\User>tracert verify.azure.com
Unable to resolve target system name verify.azure.com.

Hi,
I'd like suggest you share your create CName for blob storage steps and where does the exception was thrown. Here i find some articles shows it:

Just create the CNAME, using "verify.azure.com." Once that's done, Windows Azure will just look at your DNS records and see that you've done it (thus proving you own the domain).
That's it. It's never meant to resolve to anything.
