Need help for error in load test execution.

Question

Hi,

I have executed the load test and the test was aborted meanwhile by presenting with a dialog box which states "The load test results database could not be opened.  Check that the load test results database specified by the connect string for your Test Controller (or local machine) specifies a database that contains the load test schema and that is currently available.  For more information, see the Visual Studio Team System help topic 'About the Load Test Results Store'.   The connection error was: A network-related or instance-specific error occurred while establishing a connection to SQL Server. The server was not found or was not accessible. Verify that the instance name is correct and that SQL Server is configured to allow remote connections. (provider: SQL Network Interfaces, error: 26 - Error Locating Server/Instance Specified)"

Can any one please help me to get successful results of load test. It's urgent !!

Also if you saw this error intermittently, try to make sure that you have reilable connectivity to the database. For your specific error, please take a look at http://blogs.msdn.com/b/sql_protocols/archive/2007/05/13/sql-network-interfaces-error-26-error-locating-server-instance-specified.aspx

Hi Pallavi,

Any update? Could you get the useful information from Tim and Anuj’s suggestions?

Would you mind letting us know the result of the suggestion?

If no help, could you share us a screen shot about your Manage Test Controller?

I’m afraid that you need to test/modify your connection there so you can point to the location where you want to store the loadtest results.
