Problem to install VS2010 Ultimate on Window7 homeprem ..

Question

Hi al,

i am installing VS2010 Ultimate, my Os is Window7 Home pre. SP1

I need help, if someone know how to fix the blow problem or how to work around, please instuct me

Hi Bgroll, how are you installing VS 2010 Ultimate?

If it is from the web installer, please download the VS 2010 Trial ISO image file and use a third party tool (eg: HashCheck) to verify the ISO's checksums so that you can tell if the download was complete or not. Below are the checksums for the VS 2010 Trial ISO.

Hi Bgroll,

Welcome to the MSDN forum.

Please first try systemx’s workaround to fix your issue. It is possible that your installation setup is corrupt.

After that, if you still encounter some error, please collect fresh logs for me to analyze.(The errors  listed on your post are not the root error)

You can collect logs with this tool:

After you run Collect.exe, you'll find vslogs.cab in your %temp% directory. Please upload vslogs.cab to a public site, like SkyDrive, and post the link here.(Notice: Please first clear your %temp% folder, then run your installation, at last use the collect tool. Then I will get a fresh log)
