TFS Reporting after Migration

Question

Hello,

I have one problem about the TFS 2010 Reports.I migrated TFS 2010 Project from one virtual machine to another.Before migration TFS 2010 reports show correctly.After migration,reprots didn't show the data before migration,and it only showed the data that is after migration.So,can anyone alerts me what should I do?

Hi Kyaw, 

Thanks for your post. 

How did you migrate your TFS 2010 Project to another machine?  To move TFS 2010 from one hardware to another, please follow the detailed steps in this document: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms404869.aspx.   

After you migrated, please check that reports data(before migration) stored in the new TFS Collection, ensure your Project and that report data existed in the new TFS Server collection database.

If all that reports data(before migration) existed in the new TFS Server collection correctly, please try to rebuild the Warehouse and Cube. Please refer to: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc668753.aspx.

Hello,

Thanks for your reply.I migrate my TFS 2010 project by using TFS integration Tools.And then how can I check the old report data will be stored or not to new TFS server collection database.Please can you explain me the ways of showing report with correctly date.(Before migration+After migration)

Thanks for your reply.

According the description for TFS Integration Tools, the Reports not be migrated by the Tools, please refer to that Limitation section.
