Default Approval Workflow includes System Account in approval list

Question

Hi,

I have configured the default approval workflow with the following scenario. 
List of approvers: A custom group
Assign a single task to each group entered (Do not expand groups) : This is unchecked.

The problem is that when I start the worfkow an additional task is created to the System Account.  This should not be the case, the approvers in my custom group do not contain the system account but for some reason a task gets created.  Does anyone know how to fix this.

Hi,

Even tough system account is not showing up in the SharePoint group, delete the user explicitly by running the following command

stsadm -o deleteuser -url http://server:port -userlogin sharepoint\system -group groupname

Hi,

It seems that some account is getting reflected as System account and the task is created for it.

can you confirm that the task is getting created for all accounts in this group?
