Ajax Control Toolkit tab container not appearing inside web part ?

Question

Hi all
I have a web part that has a tab container control in it
after deploying the web part the tab container does not appear at all
I checked the part with Mozilla fire bug and IE8 development tools and found that the tab container inherits a visibility:none; style.
I added the tab container default style to the page using sharepoint designer but still does not appear
please if anybody has encounterd such  a thing before, tell me what to do?

i didn't configure the web.config file to use ajax
got it from here
