Pergunta Calendars- How to Calendar View To show First Week/day where events occur, not today.

SharePoint 2010. I have a calendar that will have events in it. Lets say July 3rd, 4th and 5th. I want to show this calendar on the front page of a site either as a week or three day calendars.

As the current date is in April, the default view is to show today in april that has no events.

Is there a way to get the calendar to display the earliest date where there exists an event.

So in this scenario even though its April, I would want the calendar to automatically go to July the 3rd.

    Can it be done?

    Thanks

you can create a view where you filter the event

start time is greater than or equal to [Today]

in the view  sort Start time with descending order

use this view in the webpart

    Cheers for the response.

I couldnt find a 'sort' on a calendar view, its there on the list view of the calendar, but not the calendar view itself. Any ideas?

    Thanks

sorry this will work when you make a Standard View for the calendar-list.
