It looks like the Windows_XP_IE6.exe is corrupt. It will not open once downloaded. The advertised size is 401.5 mb and the download size is consistently 401. I have tried this on 3 different machines (Vista & XP - all 32bit) and even from a mirror site... anyone else having this problem?
Thanks

Works fine for me: tested from work and from home. Used "Free Download Manager" at work (Chrome sometimes corrupts big downloads with unstable internet connection), and Chrome at home. Looks like a problem with your internet provider (maybe corrupted download was cached at the proxy server or something like that).
Update: computed hashes for Windows_XP_IE6.exe (downloaded 15 minutes ago):
MD5: 0194833D66D12EB7C23668261BD3430A
SHA1: 294DE841E0F5DD482481BB496C958ED4280123DA

Thanks, Kluyg - what I needed to know!
I'll try again later. I use IETester as a backup because MS is slow sometimes to get refreshed images out... but I don't trust it.

Whats wrong with the IE Developer tool in IE9 on win7 to test web page rendering...thats what the documentMode and Browser Mode switches are for.
use the VM to test Addon compatibility or networking.
