Static Maps broken?

Question

I'm an enterprise Bing Map user and as of today July 26.. All of our Static Maps are no longer available.  Is anyone else experiencing a static map outage using URI's like http://api.tiles.virtualearth.net/api/GetMap.....  ?

I see an email from Microsoft sent last week about changes to Bing Maps Spatial Data Service... am I being presumptive to think somehow this is related?  My production code has miraculously stopped working after months and months of service.

I am having the same issue. The requests seem to be coming through since the image returned has the Bing logo and copyright message. However, none of the terrain tiles are loading.

Hopefully this is a temporary issue that Microsoft fixes soon.

There seem to be several (possibly related) issues occurring at the moment that are affecting retrieval of map tiles - this seems to be noticeable across all the APIs, including static maps - see this thread: http://social.msdn.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/bingmaps/thread/e3c2cf6e-4ad8-43c7-8e47-69a886735a7c
