How recover deleted module ?

    Question

  • Access 2003. I was editing the code in a module and somehow hit a key combination that threw me out of the module and deleted it (no longer appears in design module list). I have not compacted the database. Is there any way to get the module back. It contained some complex functions I had worked on for hours.

Answers

  • Open the Code window, and look on the Window menu at the modules listed there. It's just possible you might see one with a weird name such as ~TMPsomething. That may be the module.

Otherwise you can import from a backup.
