  • Can you remove one value at a time until Outlook likes it?

What does Outlook save in an ICS file if you create the same appoitment in Outlook and save it as an ICS file?

  • Hi David,

Thanks for posting in the MSDN Forum.

Would you please show the steps to reproduce your issue? I try to copy the content of your ics file to my side and send it as a attachment to my mailbox it works fine on my side I’m not able to find the error message which you mentioned in the post.

    Have a good day,

    Tom

  • Hi

I still see the issue. I found strange thing below, do you know why

    - When my application sends the ics file through Exchange server 2k10 then we see the issue in Outlook 2k10

    - But with the same ics file format above, my application sends to gmail server or other mail server then using Outlook 2k10 to get the invitation we see no issue

I suspect Exchange server 2k10 requires some more information in ics but I dont know what it is

    Please help

    Thanks
