Access 2007 Chart object Time-scale problem

    Question

  • Hi,

I need to show a graph with the x-axis showing a interval of maximum 12 months. The first date is 28-02-2010 and the last is 28-02-2011. Major unit should always be 1 month, and Tick mark lables showing the last day of each month.

But my tickmark lable result is 28-02-2010, 28-03-2010, 28-04-2010 and so on.

That is not correct, my result should be 28-02-2010, 31-03-2010, 30-02-2010 and so on.

But if my first date (the last day in a month) is 31 the graph is perfekt.

So the problem only occurs then the first end month date is 30, 29 or 28.

In excel there is no problem, it handles this like a charm.

But i really need this to work in access, does any one know if there is a hotfix for this error?

    Best regards

    Kim

  • Hi Karl,

You have misunderstod the problem. I know how to get the data. It is the chart object that has a problem, only showing end of month dates on the x-axis, if the first date of the data period starts with 30, 29 or 28.

And i need the chart only to show end of month dates.

    Best regards
