Report blank lines

    Question

  • I have the following formular in several fields,

    IIF([PremDue])= 0, "" [pol])

    It's grouped by "POL'

    For each pol that has a zero balance it creates a space

    I have attempt many variations of the following in the groupfooter format property

    if me.premdue = 0 then

    me.groupfooter.visible = False

    Else

    Me.groupfooter.visibe = true

    End if

    End sub

    This had no effect.

  • It sounds like you will have to remove the suppressed values from the report's query itself. I don't think there is a way to shrink a row even if it is hidden.

  • You are using the groupfooter's Format event for this, right?

  • yes I am. Basically I suppress all groups with a zero balance.  There are spaces where those lines would be.  When I print or preview the report there are blank spaces between lines with a balance
