Measure the time taken for add-in in Microsoft Office to load

    Question

  • My company has built add-ins for Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel and Powerpoint).  As part of the testing process, we would like to test the performance of the add-ins, and document down the time taken for those add-ins to load.

Currently using the trial version of Telerik's JustTrace, it looks great but a bit hard to understand.  Is there any other tools or applications that can do the performance benchmark for Office add-ins? Outlook has a great feature showing the time taken for each add-in, but not for other Office applications.

    Thanks.
