Visual Studio Ultimate Expiry Date

Question

Hi,

I have got Visual Studio 2010 Ultimate trial version installed in my computer. I don't remember when I installed it so would like to know on which date the license will expire? Where can we find that information from?

Hi Varun,

Go to Help Menu and Click on " About Microsoft Visual Studio "

you will get message on Right hand Top Bar Remaining Days Message like below image

Hi,

Click on Help Menu there "Register Product" Option is available.

if you entered valid product Key then you will see message like below 

"A Valid Product Key has been entered for Microsoft Visual Studio".

It means your Visual Studio has been registered successfully. Consequently, you are not required to add a product key, so do worry about the expire date.

Hi Alexander,

But I don't think we have VS 2010 Ultimate full license ! So after three months it should stop working ! But I don't know that date.

Hi Varun,

Thank you reporting this.  Looking at first image you posted, we see the product is licensed to Microsoft. If you don't have a license, please remove this installation in order to be in compliance, and install trial version.

Well just checked with our dev managers, we do have full license. But since it was pre-installed on the VM's I personally didn't knew about that.
