2012년 2월 7일 화요일 오후 7:02What is the best way to create a custom WIT template that would include a drop down list from another database? For instance, in the example attached, I want to pretty much import a list of the client IDs into the form to make it easier to link repeated customer that or being worked on issues.

You can consider creating a custom work item control that pulls the items from the other database. You can find some great examples on CodePlex: http://tfswitcontrols.codeplex.com/Please remember to mark the replies as answers if they help.

Hi BossHogg20,
Thanks for your post.
For this issue, as Ewald said, you should to create the custom work item control to achieve that.
And you can submit it as a suggestion to User Voice site at: http://visualstudio.uservoice.com/forums/121579-visual-studio. Microsoft engineers will evaluate them seriously.
